Pastor Jeremy Pedersen’s biography:
Pastor Jeremy Pedersen is honored to have served Our Saviour’s and Fahlun Lutheran Church since September 1, 2012. He comes from a small town of Elk Horn, Iowa (about 60 miles east of Omaha, Nebraska). Then, after completing his Bachelor of Arts degree from Wartburg College in northeast Iowa, he volunteered at a church camp in England through the ELCA’s Young Adults in Global Mission program in England.
After this experience in England, he attended Luther Seminary in St. Paul, MN. During this time, he also served a congregation in Osceola, Nebraska. Then, ordained in February 2011, he first served served in Kuwait as a Minnesota National Guard Battalion Chaplain for 2nd Battalion, 135th Infantry Regiment in Kuwait.
After finishing this full-time tour in May 2012, he now serves Our Saviour’s and Fahlun Lutheran Churches while continuing to serve part-time as a chaplain in the Minnesota National Guard’s 2nd Battalion, 136th Infantry Regiment based primarily in NW Minnesota.
Pastor Patricia Bagelien:
In December 2013, the Joint Parish council of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church and Fahlun Lutheran Church called Pastor Patricia Bagelien to serve as the Knute Nelson Chaplain. Coming from Missouri, she now provides for the spiritual care of the multiple campuses and site of the Knute Nelson.
